Tax Benefits on Donation

Mirai no Mori is a certified NPO by Tokyo Metropolitan and Minato ward. Donations you make to Mirai no Mori entitle you to tax deductions against your income and resident tax. To receive your benefit, you need to submit the receipt from Mirai no Mori with your tax return. Please contact your local tax office for more information.

Notes

  • Receipts for individual donors will be mailed via post by the end of January for all donations made in the previous year combined. If you require a receipt at a different timing, or in PDF, please contact us at gift@mirai-no-mori.jp.

  • For addresses outside Japan, the receipt will be sent as an email attachment.

  • Starting from November 2024, we have changed the receipt date indicated on the receipt. For more details, please refer to this PDF: Notice Regarding Donation Receipt Dates.

Minato City Hometown Tax Donation Program

Support Mirai no Mori through your furusato nozei (hometown tax) donation.

The Minato City Hometown Tax Donation Program lets you direct your furusato nozei contribution to an organization of your choice. By designating Mirai no Mori, 70% of your donation goes directly to our programs.

How to Apply

  1. Enter your donation amount on the page
     (Minimum donation: ¥2,000)
  2. Select “団体応援寄付金” (Supporter Donation)
  3. Fill in your donor information
  4. Choose your payment method
  5. In the notes field, enter: “認定NPOみらいの森”

Please Note

  • Your donation receipt will be issued by Minato City, not Mirai no Mori.
  • As per Minato City policy, no return gifts (furusato nozei premiums) are offered for this program.
