Leader in Training Program 2018 vol. 8 Report

Date: October 13-14, 2018
Place: Mitake

Program:
Back to Nature Program was nature art and woodcraft. The LIT joined the team and enjoyed the activities, as well as working behind the stage and arranged lunch logistics. They have done this a few times now and were able to do this without any detailed instructions.

In the evening, we had another workshop for the final project. The content and the purpose of the project were reconfirmed within the team, so that they are all on the same page. The next step is to organize the tasks and ideas, and keep this project moving forward!

On Sunday, it was another project management for November Back to Nature Program, which is entirely LIT lead. They planned all the details, which they didn’t have to worry about before, such as contents of orientation, method for dividing into teams, staff management, camper activities, deciding points for lunch, and contact method between staff.

There were also a few team members who couldn’t attend the planning session, so communicating all these plans to them was another challenge. The rest of this year is full of LIT lead programs, like the hiking, winter camp, and the final project. I am sure there will be more new and exciting challenges to come.
