Leader in Training Program vol.10 Report

Date: Saturday, December 15th ~ Sunday, December 16th
Place: Mitake

Program:
The Back to Nature Program was the end of year Christmas program, and it was one of the biggest we had, with over 70 participants!

LITs had a several tasks, starting with supporting campers and staff for preparation to welcome bicycle-riding Santa. They were also in charge of serving lunch for everyone, including setup, carrying food and gear, planning and executing the procedure, and the cleanup.

In the evening, they prepared for the Winter Camp by going over the schedule and the specific tasks for LITs.

On Sunday, it was the continuation from the night before on the Winter Camp preparation. The experienced LITs lead the planning and went over all the details, such as specific tasks and procedure, staff assignment, and gear list.

At the end, they were able to come up with a plan that satisfies both LITs and the management. In the afternoon, they continued the work on the Final Project preparation. The main contents and the rough schedule were decided, and the next steps were discussed.

There are just a few more programs left until the final project, and they are able think and act on their own more and more. We are very much looking forward to seeing how much more they can grow over the coming months!
